Are my payment and personal details protected when I shop on your website?
Yes, your information is totally secure. We use Positive SSL - 128 bit SSL encryption to protect confidential data, (e.g. credit card information) during online transactions. We NEVER ever sell, trade or share any of your details with other organisations. We hate spam as much as you do so we make sure that your information remains confidential.
Does Country Mun have a shop?
No- you can purchase Country Mun products from the Country Mun website, by phone (0191 603 0440) or by mail order.  Our office hours are 10am-4pm weekdays (early closing 1pm on Wednesdays). If we are busy with other customers, you can leave a message/email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
You can also  purchase the products from the Country Mun Show Trailer at a variety of shows.
What shows does Country Mun attend?
Country Mun attends some of the largest shows in the UK.. These range from Open Dog Shows, Country and Agricultural Shows to Championship Dog Shows (including Crufts) and large Game Fairs (including CLA). Check our blog for details of any upcoming shows that we will be attending.
Are Country Mun products British Made?
Products manufactured by Country Mun are all British made. With the exception of specialist Ruff Wear and Muttluk products Country Mun strives to find British Made products to complement our range.
Are Country Mun products durable?
Country Mun prides itself on only selling products of the highest quality. All items are quality tested for durability and correctness for purpose required.
How do I know what size for my dog?
You will find a ‘How do I Measure my dog’ link on each product page - most have a diagram and instructions on choosing your size. This gives in depth information on how to measure your dog for the product you are looking at. Always ensure you include the breed of your dog when completing your order form.
How do I choose a product suitable for the purpose required?
Please carefully read the product information then click the ‘How do I Measure my dog’ link on each product page. This gives information on the differences in products in that product range. Products should be chosen with the season and purpose required being considered.
What is the cost of post and handling to UK destinations?
Postage and handling is automatically calculated on the combined weight of your order. The cost of this is shown in the shopping cart prior making payment.  There is a postage calculator you can use on the checkout page if you would like to check postage before confirming your order. Please note there is a minimum P & H charge of £2.50 per order. When ordering multiple items, the system occasionally over-calculates postage.  If this happens, we will make a partial refund when processing your order.
Does Country Mun sell and ship products to International destinations?
Yes, postage should be automatically calculated on the website based on your location. Unless tracked postage is paid, we will be unable to check on delivery and we can't claim a lost parcel for overseas mail until 30 days later. This means we can't refund due to non-delivery of untracked overseas item for 30 days (This is Royal Mail's rule).
Does Country Mun welcome bulk orders?
Yes, but not as part of our on-line ordering system. If you are a dog club, breed society or rescue society email us at sales@countrymun.com for our special rates on bulk orders. Country Mun also welcomes trade enquiries.
When can I expect my order to be delivered?
We will despatch your item as soon as possible but customers should always allow 7-14 days for delivery.  Goods in stock are usually despatched within one-two working days. If you need express delivery (UK), please contact us - there is an extra charge for this.  If your item is shown as "backordered" on the checkout page, we should be able to send your order within 21 days. If it is likely to take longer, we will get in touch to let you know.
Can I return goods?
In most cases, you can but you need to obtain a returns authorisation. Please see our Terms and Conditions HERE  for a more detailed answer to this question.
Why won't the website allow me to add a product to my basket?
If the basket icon does not appear, please check that the item is available. Look at the top of the page underneath the product title and reviews. It might say product is out of stock. If product does not say out of stock please contact us with any website problems.

 

Why won't the discount code work?
There are two or three possible reasons. Currently, the only valid discount code is Special10 - if you are trying to use a different code then it is out of date and will not work. 
The code must be entered as a single string - Special10. If you put a space between Special and 10 the code will not work. The code is one word only without spaces.  Finally, on some devices, particularly those with a small screen, you may not be seeing the icon below the box which says Apply Voucher. You must click this Apply Voucher button to apply the discount.  If you are still having problems, please let us know so we can help.

 

I am overseas and don't have a postcode. Why won't it allow me to order without postcode?

Unfortunately, the system will not accept an address unless the postcode field has been completed. If you don't have postcodes in your country, simply enter your county or region again in this field. If you continue to have problems, please let us know.

Is the item I bought washable?

All of our washable products have washing instructions on the reverse of the white garment label.

Our towelling rug coats are fully washable at low temperature. We do not recommend tumble drying.

Our Challenger dog coats are also washable at low temperature - again, please do not tumble dry. The best results are obtained by line drying or flat drying without any additional heat.

Our neoprene wetsuit-style dog coat is best simply rinsed in warm water.  If the coat is particularly dirty, you can wash with a mild detergent at low temperature but we don't recommend using spin or tumble dry.

Our show boots and Vet Boot can be gently handwashed. Our Cooler coat and Vehicle Reflective Sheet have a special heat resistant coating and we recommend sponge cleaning or hosing outside.

Can I exchange a coat after Christmas?

 Items can be returned for refund or exchange within 14 days. However, from November 21st, we offer our Xmas Gift Exchange Scheme. If you buy any coat as a gift and it is the wrong size, it can be returned up until January 10 to be exchanged for the correct size.  Alternatively, you buy a Country Mun gift voucher instead.  These can be used for upto 12 months after purchase. We can post the voucher to you with an extra envelope or direct to the recipient with your chosen gift message. 

All returns must still comply with our returns policy - and can only be accepted if they are in brand new condition. Please email us before return to get an authorisation number for your item.
